Literature Text
If each star had shoulders,
They would sag under the weight
Of one thousand wishes,
Their hands would be ever-reaching,
With fingers that stretched into nothing
But dark and dark and dark.
If stars had mouths,
They would open them to sing
And only scream one thousand forgotten promises.
They would sag under the weight
Of one thousand wishes,
Their hands would be ever-reaching,
With fingers that stretched into nothing
But dark and dark and dark.
If stars had mouths,
They would open them to sing
And only scream one thousand forgotten promises.
I'm sorry like, twelve of my poems are about stars, guys. But look at them.
