I'm just sort of reflecting on how things are going well, because I rarely do that here and in case anyone is interested in my life I like to sometimes update, or in this case three in the morning ramble because my sleeping patterns are ridiculoussss! :D Mostly because I got a new job that I work at three nights a week from 4:30 in the afternoon to 1:30 at night, so I get home around 2:30 in the morning, eat, shower, go to bed at around 4, wake up around 1 then repeat. I also got a job as an assistant editor of my school's opinion-based magazine, which is absolutely awesome, though there has not really been work for it yet. I imagine around t

I'm in an art history class right now, and I want to talk about how important I think it is. Anyone who considers him or herself an artist should take a class like this. I feel like I knew nothing before- I could look at and criticize something based on personal experience, but the direct relation of art to history is a far more solid link than I ever really anticipated. Picasso, for instance- I always knew him as an artist that got famous and lucky without really understanding why his work was so ridiculously important.
